Ten years ago, Nawin began exporting his coffee to the U.S. with the help of his brother and an American missionary friend. They faced many challenges and learned through trial and error. In 2017, Nawin met Fuadi from Beanspire, who introduced innovative techniques to enhance coffee quality. With Fuadi's expertise, Nawin's coffee started reaching global markets, especially in Europe.
Nawin is passionate about specialty coffee, known for its high quality. He believes that every batch and process is unique and aims to maintain consistency in large-scale production, ensuring everyone can enjoy top-notch coffee year-round.
However, climate change poses significant challenges for coffee farmers. Weather changes, price fluctuations, and cultivation issues have led to reduced production. Nawin is determined to tackle these challenges by focusing on soil health and moisture management. He's also experimenting with different types of yeasts and refining processing techniques to consistently produce excellent coffee on a larger scale.
The Thai farming community is tight-knit, with farmers sharing knowledge to grow together in the industry. Nawin collaborates with other leading coffee processors like Goh and Oil from Sirinya Coffee Farm.
