Tano
Baking three days a week out of Paper Son Coffee in Downtown San Francisco, Tano was started by owner Isaac Taitano who was a former line cook turned pastry chef. At Tano, he makes batches of Creme Puffs, Scones, and of course, Salt Bread. Inspired by his Filipino and Guamanian roots, he often infuses ingredients such as Squid Ink for a dramatic charcoal color and stuffs them with fillings such as Ube cream. Out of Ordi
What started out of their home kitchen, Out of Ordi, was the collaborative effort of Wife and Husband, Gemma and Luis, then newlyweds with a dream of starting their own business. Gemma, a designer with a background in fashion, and Luis, with his background in restaurants began developing his Salt Bread Recipe, while Gemma focused on developing the brand. Out Of Ordi is now a full fledged cafe located in LA's Koreatown serving Korean Salt Bread with flavors such as Truffle, Pollack Roe, Corn Creme, Yuzu, and much more. They continue to experiment with new flavors and offerings to truly explore the possibilities of Salt Bread to its fullest.

Popping up in the Seattle Area, Twenty2 Bake's founder was a passionate home baker for over 12 years who wanted to share their passion with the community. Between regular drops around the Seattle Area and collaborations between local Cafe's, Twenty2 Bakes has been bringing the joy of Salt Bread to the community, offering a choice between original salt bread or a salt bread flight with 6 different flavor offerings.

Newbery Street Coffee Roasters
Popping up every weekend morning at Merai Bar in Brookline Village, Newbery Street Coffee Roasters curates not only just great coffee, but food to go along with it. Drawing from wanting to bring the Asian cafe experience to the U.S., Newbery Street Coffee, offers a selection of salt bread to pair with their coffee, matcha drinks, Thai tea and more. Located in Koreatown, NYC, Salt Bread Ko is baking Salt Bread fresh daily, "soft on the inside, crisp on the outside – made in limited batches." Since opening their doors, Salt Bread Ko was recently voted to be the number 1 new NYC Bakery in March of 2026, and continues to churn out new flavors and combinations for customers to enjoy. Customers can choose between plain salt bread, salt bread with a spread, or filled salt bread with flavors from nutella, strawberry lychee jam, all the way to Black Osetra Caviar.

Justin's Salt Bread
Also based in NYC, Justin's Salt Bread stays true to it's namesake by being "the only brick-and-mortar bakery in the city that specializes in salt bread." With no fillings or extra flourishes, just various flavored creams to accompany the salty bread, the founder Justin Lim, takes a simpler approach, wanting to perfect his bread. Opening in the East Village this past December, the shop offers alongside it's salt bread, a Signature Salted Matcha and Signature Salted Coffee as well.
