OREA V4 – The Finest Brewer Alive.
We use the OREA V4 every day—both at home and at our café popups in Boston. In our experience, it’s the most consistent brewer out there and perfectly showcases the coffee profiles we love, especially with our signature center-pour method.
The OREA V4 is the latest evolution in flat-bottom brewers—fast, efficient, and built with a design that ensures a clean, repeatable brew every time. It’s no surprise that it has become the industry leader in its class.
This specific model is the OREA V4 Narrow, featuring a 73° classic geometry that has been a hallmark of OREA brewers since the V1. It also comes with four interchangeable bottom plates, giving you ultimate flexibility:
- The Classic – The V3 MK2 bottom adapted for the V4. Offers a bit of restriction while keeping the bed flat. It delivers a balanced, vintage-style brew that’s beloved worldwide.
- The Open – Based on the Glass Series OPEN and Baby O, this bottom centers the flow and offers a completely different flavor profile. Great for exploring new possibilities.
- The Fast – Inspired by the Big Boy Brewer, this uncloggable design is likely the fastest in the lineup. Ideal for finer grinds, bolder pours, and experimenting with different paper types.
- The APEX – Pack’s favorite, and the one that helped him place 3rd at the 2025 U.S. Brewers Cup. This bottom works with conical papers (V60, Cafec, etc.) and unlocks a whole new level of brewing precision.
With these four bottoms, you’re essentially getting three brewers in one—each capable of bringing out unique characteristics in your coffee.
The OREA V4 isn’t just a brewer. It’s an award-winning piece of design, recognized by the European Product Design Awards.
Pack has relied on OREA brewers in competition, earning 3rd place at both the 2024 U.S. Brewers Cup (using the V3) and the 2025 championship (with the V4 APEX).
OREA’s reputation is global—used by champions like Sherry Hsu (2022 World Brewers Cup Winner) and Martin Wölfl (2024 World Brewers Cup Winner).
