Lin Huai Nam Dang Natural

This is a story of resilience, heritage, and passion. It begins with Lin Wararat Rattanathakul, a third-generation Chinese-Thai woman whose family’s journey in coffee started decades ago. Her ancestors—soldiers from the 93rd Division—settled in Thailand after the war, becoming part of the Royal Project’s initiative to replace opium cultivation with sustainable crops. Given coffee seedlings, they unknowingly planted the roots of a legacy.

In Huai Nam Dang, where the highland climate provided ideal conditions for coffee cultivation, the family built their livelihood. When the COVID-19 crisis halted Lin's tourism business in 2020, she returned home to Chiang Mai, reconnecting with her family’s farm. With over a decade in the restaurant industry, she saw coffee not just as a product but as a way to empower farmers and share Thailand’s coffee culture with the world.

Over the next four years, Lin immersed herself in every step of the process—farming, processing, roasting, and brewing—ensuring quality, sustainability, and a deep connection to the land. Her dedication has led to recognition at the highest levels of competition.
